Lee Novia Robinson
Ms. Robinson is a retired guidance counselor for pregnant and parenting teens. She has worked as a Certified K-12 Guidance Counselor, a certified secondary education teacher with a secondary certification in Administration, as well as a certified master social worker certification. She is a licensed minister and an ordained Chaplain, currently volunteering with the Detroit Police Department as a Police Chaplain
Oasis Ministry Feeding Minds was born from a vision God sent to Pastor Widmy Mervilus. It was a calling to go beyond comfort and reach those often forgotten. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry grounded in the Word of God and devoted to meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of underprivileged communities.
We believe poverty is more than a lack of money or resources. It’s the result of broken relationships between man and God, within oneself, with others, and even with creation. Through the lens of Scripture, especially Genesis 3, we recognize that healing poverty begins with healing the heart. And that work starts with the Gospel.
This ministry has always been about hands extended in love. It’s about feeding not just stomachs but also minds. We go where others don’t, led by the Holy Spirit, working through local churches and community partners to build up the poor, the broken, and the overlooked.
